I grew up in a Christian family in the interior of the state of São Paulo, Brazil. My family attended a church started by BMM missionaries John & Karen Swedberg. I accepted Christ at an early age. When I finished high school, I planned to attend the Bible College in Curitiba for one year. Well, I liked it so much I decided to stay for the four-year bachelors’ program. It was during this time that the Lord began working in my heart about missions. Also, during this time, I began talking to Warren. After finishing my degree, we began dating and about a year later we were married.
